Olivia Herriford, DM, MBA, teaches, coaches and mentors leaders in service to others. Her expertise is strategic planning and execution, change management, and leadership development. Prior to forming Herriford Consulting in 1997, Olivia had over twenty-five years experience as a leader in high-technology that she has since leveraged in financial, government, and non-profit environments. Dr. Herriford is adjunct faculty at the University of Phoenix and JFK University where she teaches graduate and undergraduate business and management courses and at The Recharge Institute where she develops and leads leadership and personal development workshops. She has been developing workshop and classroom curriculum development for a decade, focusing on leadership, conflict management & collaboration, problem-solving and decision-making. Olivia is a certified Gazelles International Coach specializing in nonprofit strategy and execution.
A strong believer in servant leadership, Dr. Herriford inspires her business practices by also being of service to the community. She is currently on the board of the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA and the Attitudinal Healing Connection of Oakland. Olivia is Director of eCommunications for the East Bay Coaches ICF Chapter and facilitates the Walnut Creek Regional NAWBO meetings. She also volunteers as a mediator for the Center for Human Development’s Conflict Resolution Program.
